Located just west of the larger metropolitan area of Dallas, Fort Worth has plenty to offer in terms of outdoor activities. Fort Worth is surrounded by lakes and rivers and makes for an incredibly beautiful setting. We have highlighted some of the available parks that offer rentals and free spaces for a picnic or outdoor party.
Trinity Park
With over 250 acres of park, a fishing pier, playgrounds, and trails, this park has it all. Alcohol is prohibited at the park, however, it is open from 5-11, so essentially all day. Use this link to rent the shelter, which comes with a grill.

Marion Sansom Park
This 264 acre park is open the same hours at Trinity and also prohibits alcohol. They feature tables and a few shelters. Use this link to rent one. In addition, there are plenty of biking and hiking trails, a huge lake in the middle, a waterfall, and even a paintball course.

Blake Burnett Park
A smaller park with only 3 acres, this area does have a playground for the kids and some light trails to circulate. It too is open from 5-11. They have benches and is the ideal place for an impromptu picnic. They have free yoga on Tuesday evenings at 5 PM. Rent the entire park here.

Anderson Campbell Park
Located in the western park of town, this park is 24 acres. They have shelters with picnic tables, trails, and a fitness center. Rent the shelters here. It is open from dawn to dusk.

Foster Park
A 12 acre park with multiple types of sports courts throughout, this park is open from dawn till dusk. They have picnic tables for free usage. Rent the shelters with this link.
