Haggard Park
Address: 901 E 15th St, Plano, TX 75074, United States
A beautifully landscaped five-and-a-half-acre park in the middle of the downtown area, boasts a playground, a pond, picnic areas, chess boards, a gazebo, and paved walking paths. The gazebo is available for reservation through the parks and recreation reservation system. You would call 972-941-7275, Mon – Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for information or to make a reservation.
The RESERVATION FEE is $50 for residents ($100 for non-residents) per 6-hour time slot and is non-refundable. A refundable reservation deposit of $75 will also be required. Both fees must be paid at the time of booking. Another benefit of this large park is it’s huge parking lot, so it won’t be too difficult to find parking. This park is pet friendly, has plentiful drinking fountains, restrooms, and dog waste stations which makes it an excellent place to host if you also want to be dog-friendly.
Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve
Address: 5901 Los Rios Blvd, Plano, TX 75074
This very cool Plano park has various special event fields available, and plenty of space for large games or events. It also has an amphitheater concert venue with public restrooms and concrete parking if you are trying to find a spot for a seminar/corporate announcement or team building event. This park has a private parking lot, it’s not massive but is big enough for large groups. The real star of this event is it’s pavillion area which offers unique indoor and outdoor locatons, making certain that guests will enjoy the great views from the intimate ballroom or the back patio as well. This park is pet friendly and would make an ideal venue for a variety of events.

Bob Woodruff Park
Address: 2601 San Gabriel Dr., Plano, TX 75074
This is a great park in Plano that has a pavilion, playground, restrooms, fishing pier, sand volleyball court, and hard surface trails. It’s as great for a stroll on a nice day as it is for a large family reunion or party. There are a number of places to hold events, but the main two are the North and South Pavillions. There is a pavilion on the property and it can be rented if you need a space to hold an event. There is a deposit of $75 to reserve and then the cost for the larger North Pavilion is $200 for residents and $400 for non-residents. It has plenty of parking and is pet friendly. The smaller South Pavilion is $50 for residents and $100 for non-residents. More info can be found on the Plano website.

The park is open each day at 5 am and is available to the public until 11 pm.
